Playground Nadezhda (Hope) is now officially open!
The new playground is the result of a generous donation from The Pottruff Family Foundation in honour of my beloved grandmother Nadezhda Ivanchenko, and continuous support of many I Will Association special friends.

Generous donations allowed to send six year old Nastia Komorkina for rehabilitation programs to the modern specialized clinic in Truskavtsi, Ukraine. As a result, we had enough funds not for one but for three trips. The first trip is completed in March 2013 – much needed program for Nastia included transportation, lodging, procedures and medication. Two more trips followed with the last one in July 2014.
Thank you Brenda Sweeney, Donald Nelson, Andrew McDonald and Shawna Irons.

Bereznegovaty region, Ukraine
The Ukrainian Government encourages local people to adopt children from orphanages and give them a real home, instead of an institution. This Bereznegovaty region family has adopted six children! I Will donated bunk beds for kids and a brand new computer which was a dream come true for the entire family.
Nikolaev, Ukraine
When my dad and I visited Nikolaev orphanage in December 2012 for the opening ceremony of Nadezhda computer class, we also visited dormitory for smaller kids – kindergarten and 1st graders. We realized that one of the 1st grade classes did not receive New Year gifts yet. We asked kids to draw what they wanted for New Year and later in January 2013, just in time for Ukrainian Christmas, we delivered.
Yuzhno-Ukrainsk Orphanage, Ukraine
Much needed, new school furniture (convertible desks and chairs) were delivered to the children of the Yuzhno-Ukrainsk Orphanage. The children made drawings for I Will as their token of thank you.

Barbara Kempt, a longtime supporter, continues to make her incredibly personal and heartfelt donations of knitted hats, gloves and toys every year for Christmas. Photos are from the January 2013 visit to the Nikolaev orphanage. I was happy to personally deliver beautiful hats for the girls and scarfs for the boys.
