Generous donations allowed to send six year old Nastia Komorkina for rehabilitation programs to the modern specialized clinic in Truskavtsi, Ukraine. As a result, we had enough funds not for one but for three trips. The first trip is completed in March 2013 – much needed program for Nastia included transportation, lodging, procedures and medication. Two more trips followed with the last one in July 2014.

When my dad and I visited Nikolaev orphanage in December 2012 for the opening ceremony of Nadezhda computer class, we also visited dormitory for smaller kids – kindergarten and 1st graders. We realized that one of the 1st grade classes did not receive New Year gifts yet. We asked kids to draw what they wanted for New Year and later in January 2013, just in time for Ukrainian Christmas, we delivered.

Radsad, Ukraine
From October to November last year my dad worked very hard on renewing Radsad orphanage infrastructure. Radsad orphanage is very old. The fact that the kids now have new book shelves, new art supplies, new gym equipment and new pots, pans and utensils for the kitchen is such a great improvement in the life’s of many orphaned kids. My dad also repaired school’s old sewing machine.
