Nikolaev, Ukraine
When my dad and I visited Nikolaev orphanage in December 2012 for the opening ceremony of Nadezhda computer class, we also visited dormitory for smaller kids – kindergarten and 1st graders. We realized that one of the 1st grade classes did not receive New Year gifts yet. We asked kids to draw what they wanted for New Year and later in January 2013, just in time for Ukrainian Christmas, we delivered boxes with cars for boys and dolls for girls and Lego games for everyone. We also donated big screen TV for the kindergarten playroom in the orphanage. Kids were super happy and so were we.
