Nikolaev, Ukraine
At our 10th Anniversary last year, very special friends of I Will have enabled us to pursue big dreams. As a result, I Will started working on opening a playground for orphaned children at the Children’s Home in Nikolaev. The playground will be dedicated to special memories of my grandmother Nadezhda – she was a very strong and successful woman who not only stoically survived WWII, but also, as a single mother, was able to have a successful career. She loved children and dedicated all her life carrying for her grandchildren.
The photos below are from July 2013 – visit to the site, and from August 2013 – equipment arrival. This area previously belonged to a soviet kindergarten and is now being remodelled to become a modern home to many orphans. The area for the playground was levelled last year, we have found and ordered reasonably priced equipment that has just arrived.
