Today, on November 20, 2014, International Children's Day, ten more orphaned children will be able to move in into newly renovated modern living conditions. Many volunteers worked relentlesly to ensure the project was completed before the harsh winter weather arrives. We are so happy to celebrate the official opening of the children's home today! It is a very special accomplishment that will give warmth and care to many disadvantaged children. This phase of the project took around a year to complete. This centre will eventually host 40 children. Below you will see the photos from the start of the project to date. This morning I dialled in via Skype to be part of the opening ceremony and am honoured to pass on a very special thank you from Ukraine to all our Canadian friends!
